Position: Investment Analysts
Location: Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam and Indonesia

Pacific Impact Development is responsible for project origination, pre-financial close project development, EPC management, and financial structuring activities in the Philippines, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia.

Pacific Impact Development undertakes early-stage, high-risk infrastructure development activities.

A brief summary of the job description:

The Investment Analyst is responsible for working through all stages of project management. The primary role is to work closely with project managers to ensure that all budgeting, scheduling and coordination processes run smoothly. The Analyst monitor the progress of a project to ensure that it is working within the confines of set deadlines and budget limitations and generate progress reports to managers. The Analyst shall make suggestions for improvements to project operations as needed.

The Analyst report to project managers, country head and other upper-management personnel involved in particular projects

Job Responsibilities:

Work duties will include assessment, implementation and ongoing management of investments in infrastructure projects that are under development, including but not limited to the following:

  1. Create and monitor progress against investment budgets
  2. Create and monitor progress against project development schedules
  3. Create and update periodic reports
  4. Create and update investment overview presentations
  5. Assist with investment approval memoranda
  6. Analyze changing business environment, including:
    1. market research and analysis
    2. regulatory updates
    3. risk identification and analysis
  7. Support investment and sell-down documentation negotiations and process
  8. Coordinate with partners, vendors and other team members
  9. Complete ad hoc administrative tasks
  10. Maintains and updates project data rooms according to internal standards, and assist in due diligence processes
  11. Preparing Investment Committee memos, addressing Q&A from Investment Committee, coordinating input/information from/to other departments (Technical, Legal) in order to secure investment approvals
  12. Drafting the contracts from a Business Development perspective prior to the final review

  • Have excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Have extremely above average attention to detail;
  • Possess a can-do attitude, high energy, and initiative;
  • Have a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint (Microsoft Project working knowledge is a plus); and

Ideal profile of candidate:

  • 1-3 years of experience in project development, investment/corporate banking, audit, private equity or a corporate firm with focus on the Energy or Infrastructure sectors
  • Strong analytical and process management skills
  • Willing to travel on relatively short notice.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, Finance or similar disciplines
  • English spoken fluently is a must
