About the Role:
Location: Phase 1 (Pre-Construction): Makati, Metro Manila (approx. 3 months)
Phase 2 (Construction): Sual, Pangasinan
Contract Type: 12-month Contract
Job Purpose
Pacific Impact is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a utility-scale solar power plant in Sual, Pangasinan. This role will be responsible for managing the project across pre-construction, construction and commissioning phases, ensuring high standards in procurement, engineering, contractor coordination, safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Construction Phase (Makati – approx. 3 months):
- Oversee project mobilization and initial setup from the Makati office
- Manage procurement planning and execution
- Lead engagement and selection of local contractors and service providers
- Ensure all necessary permits, licenses, and documentation are prepared for site work
- Develop and monitor project schedules and budgets in collaboration with internal stakeholders
Construction Phase (Sual, Pangasinan):
- Oversee onsite execution of all EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) activities
- Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
- Implement and monitor safety (HSE) and quality control systems
- Resolve site issues and maintain continuous alignment with project goals
- Provide regular progress reports and updates to company leadership
- Ensure compliance with Philippine construction regulations and solar project standards
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience managing large-scale infrastructure or energy projects; solar project experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Philippine construction laws, permitting processes, and regulatory compliance
- Relevant certifications in project management and/or construction in the Philippines (e.g., PRC, PCAB, or PMP a plus)
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
- Willingness to relocate to Sual, Pangasinan during the construction phase
