MET MAST INITIATED FOR WIND ASSESSMENT IN ALBAY

Ligao City, Albay – 23 April 2025 — Pacific Impact is pleased to announce that it has received official Locational Clearance from the City Government of Ligao for the installation of a meteorological mast (met mast) in the Ligao Highlands. This clearance marks a key milestone in the company’s efforts to assess the region’s potential for utility-scale wind power generation.

The met mast, once installed, will collect critical meteorological data—including wind speed, direction, and other atmospheric conditions—over a period of time to evaluate the site’s viability for future renewable energy development. This data-driven approach ensures that energy planning is grounded in accurate, site-specific information.

Pacific Impact has engaged E-Tech and Coastal Renewable Energy Technology  for the installation of the met mast.  Both firms bring extensive experience in renewable energy infrastructure and have a strong track record of delivering high-quality, technically sound projects across the Philippines.
